When HLS HARD-LINE SOLUTIONS INC., part of Hexagon, asked some of their employees what they love most about working in manufacturing, here’s what they had to say:

Ashley Rhude: Production Technician 

“I started working here because I lived just down the road and I was looking for a change of scenery from my previous job. I wanted to work in a more family oriented business. I love the challenges of building new products and the team that I work with.”

Brianne Montpellier-Gagnon: Production Coordinator 

“Growing up in a mining town I knew I wanted to do something in relations to that. Manufacturing at HARD-LINE allows me to accomplish that. When a friend told me the company was hiring I knew it would be a good fit for me. I enjoy the fast pace environment. I like that it challenges me, and I get to interact with multiple other teams throughout the company. The role allows me to feel like I am always accomplishing something.”

Kayla Poirier: Quality Control Specialist

“I was approached by the HR supervisor at the time. Originally I was offered the secretary position but I ended up in Production instead. I've been in the manufacturing department at HARD-LINE for almost 7 years now. I have went from a level 1 Production builder to Quality Control. Commissioning and doing final tests on products before they leave the building. I enjoy learning all the new products and gaining new skills with each build I do. The team we have at hardline is like no other. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help when asked.”

Ivan Lebo: Apprentice Mechanic - Quality Control Technician 

“As a new hire, I was offered a position to help build low-profile machines. What I love about working in manufacturing is the finished product along with the process from assembly to the actual start-up of the machine.”
