It all started with humble roots.

Growing up on a farm in Midhurst, Ontario, Dawn, the founder of Lazy Daisy's, developed a deep-rooted connection to the land and a love for homemade delights. Fueled by this passion, she set out to open a cozy café, where she could share her delectable creations and the warmth of home with her community.

As Ontarians' appetite for breakfast sandwiches grew, Dawn saw an opportunity to innovate. Teaming up with a skilled baker, she used the finest ingredients (free-range eggs, artisanal bacon, and locally sourced flour) and crafted a simple, yet irresistible biscuit.

With an unwavering dedication to quality and a commitment to using natural, handmade ingredients, Lazy Daisy's quickly captured the hearts and taste buds of many. Before long, they found themselves gracing lists as one of the best breakfast sandwiches in Toronto.

However, when the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic arose, Dawn faced a new obstacle – how to ensure her tasty biscuits reached people amidst lockdowns and restrictions.

Undeterred, Lazy Daisy's pivoted its business model, introducing frozen bake-at-home biscuits that allowed customers to enjoy their favourite treat at any time. With seven delicious flavours, these biscuits are available to purchase online, and are carried in over 40 boutique grocers across Ontario.

Proudly displaying the Ontario Made logo on their packaging, Lazy Daisy's remains deeply rooted in their commitment to supporting local communities. From Dawn’s childhood memories of milking cows on her grandparents' farm to the personalized touches of barn boards in their café, every aspect of Lazy Daisy's reflects their Ontario heritage.

As the demand for their biscuits continues to grow, Lazy Daisy's is embarking on a new chapter by moving into a larger production facility. Outgrowing their original space, they are hiring more staff and expanding their operations, ensuring that the 'Year of the Biscuit' is marked by even greater success.

Lazy Daisy's stands as a testament to the resilience and entrepreneurial spirit of Ontario's manufacturing community. From farm to table, their story is a celebration of tradition, innovation, and the timeless appeal of a perfectly baked biscuit.
