20 " Black Walnut Bowl

This 20" diameter by 5.5" deep Black Walnut bowl was hand crafted from a solid piece of timber harvested in southern Ontario. First, the bowl is "rough turned" and was then set aside to slowly dry for over a year allowing the stresses of the wood to release and warp the rough bowl. Once dry enough the bowl was taken back to the lathe and turned a second time, "truing it up" and making it perfectly round again. Lastly, the bowl was meticulously sanded and finished with a food grade gloss finish making this the perfect salad bowl for you and your family.
