Re-heating leftover material eliminates disposal needs and significantly reduces the amount of cold patch material required for repairs. The process typically takes 8-12 hours, varying with ambient temperatures and the amount of asphalt being heated. Utilizing a digital temperature controller, the system ensures safe heating, automatically turning off heaters at a preset temperature (e.g., 300 °F) to prevent asphalt burning.
