Canadian Beaver Greeting Card

Our greeting cards are memorable, eco-friendly, celebrations of Canada!

Each folded A2 greeting card is blank inside and measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (10.8 cm x 14 cm). With its elegant linen finish, the cardstock we have selected is the perfect backdrop to our unique Canadian designs. A quality square-flap envelope accompanies every card.

Both our greeting card and its accompanying envelope are carbon neutral (made with 100% wind power) and FSC certified. They are also elemental chlorine free and lignin free. Even the clear packaging that protects each card and envelope is eco-friendly: instead of plastic, it is constructed from a plant-based material!

Did you know?!

Reflecting its significance to the early North American fur trade, the beaver is one of Canada’s most recognizable national emblems. But, did you know that legends speak of another, GIANT, beaver that once roamed the lands now known as Canada?

It turns out that the legends are true! Said to have been the size of a black bear, these giant beavers (Castoroides ohioensis) happily roamed Canada’s wetlands until they became extinct, likely due to climate change, about 10,000 years ago. So far, their fossilized remains have been discovered in New Brunswick, Ontario and Yukon.
