Colombia Villa Betulia Pink Bourbon
This Pink Bourbon coffee is a rare variety of Arabica, grown by Luis Anibal Calderon, at his small family farm, Villa Betulia.
This microlot is difficult to produce with consistency, as it is bred from a hybridization of red and yellow bourbon. Luis' farm, situated in Acevedo (which is known as the Specialty Coffee Capital) produces some of the best and rarest coffee from Colombia, of which this is definitely one!
The high elevation, rare sub-species, and delicate washed processing really bring out the smooth classic coffee flavours of brown sugar and caramel, with hints of cooked orange / marmalade, without being fruit forward. We roast this coffee light to accentuate its superb flavours and smooth mouthfeel.
This coffee is best brewed as a pour over, or drip coffee.
Available in Whole Bean or Ground.
