HIEV E40 Pro Level 2 EV Pedestal Charging Station OCPP1.6 is suitable for all electric vehicles and all EV charging use cases including public and private, outdoors or indoors for high power level 2 charging up to 40 amps or 9.6KW. This pedestal EV charging station is available is 6 and 8 foot tall units with shorter or longer premium weighted cable retracting systems for easy use. These pedestal EV charging stations can be outfitted with one or two HIEV E40 Pro Level 2 EV chargers. This smart charger is open and interoperable and can be operated by any OCPP1.6 certified charger management software including HIEV CMS which is the first Canadian EV charging technology to be fully certified by the Open Charge Alliance assuring all customers no vendor lock-in or the potential of future stranded assets that cannot be operated with universal open communication protocols. This charger has a powerful microprocessor and can communicate with HIEV CMS or other OCPP certified CMS via WiFi or optional cellular connectivity. This unit can also communicate locally with other units in a MESH network. It can also perform EV load management when needed. The embedded meter is Measurements Canada certified so customers can pay only for the actual energy they use. EV drivers can operate this unit with the HIEV mobile app or with RFID card authentication or with any other OCPP certified mobile apps and CMS systems. HIEV CMS and mobile apps can also be white labeled and this charger can also be customized to specific business customer needs. HIEV Pro series chargers are not sold to the public and must be installed by a lisenced professional. Internet connectivity and provisioning of this smart networked charger is done wirelessly with the HIEV Operator App which is only available to registered professionals.
