Historic Canoes Greeting Card

Historic Canoes Greeting Card

Our greeting cards are memorable, eco-friendly, celebrations of Canada!

Each folded A2 greeting card is blank inside and measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (10.8 cm x 14 cm). With its elegant linen finish, the cardstock we have selected is the perfect backdrop to our unique Canadian designs. A quality square-flap envelope accompanies every card.

Both our greeting card and its accompanying envelope are carbon neutral (made with 100% wind power) and FSC certified. They are also elemental chlorine free and lignin free. Even the clear packaging that protects each card and envelope is eco-friendly: instead of plastic, it is constructed from a plant-based material!
Designed and printed in Canada.

Did you know?!

Did you know that waterways were to the people of the past what roads and highways are to us today?

Canada borders on three oceans and encompasses almost 800,000 km² of freshwater including numerous lakes and rivers. The fact that many of these waterways are interconnected allows people, now as in the past, to travel great distances without roads.

The canoes in this image were drawn by F. W. Waugh (1872-1924), an ethnologist, artist and photographer who mysteriously disappeared in Montreal while returning home to Ottawa from a research expedition to Sept-Îles, Québec.
