Lightweight and recyclable
Monteciano™ Mediterranean-style steel tiles are factory-press-moulded into their traditional barrel-vaulted shape in a single motion, fitting them with added strength. These are 60% lighter than asphalt shingles and up to 95% lighter than clay, slate, and cement tiles. These are robust enough to support a person’s weight and stronger than asphalt shingles, cedar shakes, and aluminum panels.

Made from a mix of new and recycled steel, Monteciano™ steel tiles don’t rely on fossil fuels like asphalt shingles and are therefore not subject to global oil price fluctuations. And, unlike used asphalt shingles, they don’t clog up landfills and are fully recyclable. Monteciano™ steel tiles are press-manufactured into 63.5“ wide by 12.5” long panels, and coated with our state-of-the-art Kynar 500® paint. They also incorporate state-of-the-art Cool Roof® reflective technology, providing exceptional protection against solar radiation while reducing air-conditioning-related costs in summer.
