non-slip slippers
Our slippers aren't a fashion statement, we are more about comfort and warmth. These slippers are crocheted with 1 strand of Phentex slipper & Craft yarn (for it's durability)and 1 strand of wortsed yarn on the outside. Phentex is scratchy so I use 2 strands of worsted yarn for it's softness and warmth. We then machine sew a non-slp-material on the bottom. This WILL NOT come off in the wash. (TO WASH: warm water TO DRY: warm dry or air dry) We then put in laces. You adjust these only when your foot changes, ie. swells broken toe etc. Yes, broken toe. I've worn them in a case like that. Because these have a little stretch a size up or down will more than likely fit. If when you first put them on and they feel a little snug, give them a day and they will adjust to your foot much like a pair of socks or new soft shoes. If you find that they are getting to loose, do the laces up tighter. Have the lasces so that the slipper is comfortable on YOUR foot. Try a pair. You'll be pleasantly surprised.
