Quad Occupancy Detector
The Quad Occupancy Detector (QOD) is a current-sensing occupancy detector that works with all power systems (DC, DCC, AC). Four detectors are on a single board to bring the cost per detector lower, however partially-populated boards are available.
Electrical isolation between your track power and the circuit the detector feeds into is a good idea. Our detector accomplishes this by using optical isolation. The QOD is available as an assembled and tested unit, or as a kit ready to assemble.
