Red Borscht (Beet Soup)

Red Borscht is a sweet and sour soup which combines fresh beets, potatoes and carrots in a beef broth. Borscht is most often served with a dollop of sour cream and a slice of rye bread, but can also be eaten as a clear broth or with the addition of some sweet cream.
