DASS Resilient Channel is a cost-effective solution meeting specified STC (Sound Transmission Class) ratings for reducing sound transmission through ceilings and walls. When used with steel studs or joists in multi-unit buildings, recording studio walls, etc., the pre-punched holes in the metal web increase resiliency, blocking the transmission of soundsthrough the steel.
