Shacklands Beerbecue

Belgian Imperial Porter from Toronto's award winning Shacklands craft brewery, with roasted sweet potatoes, local maple syrup, garlic from our neighbour's farm, Amish paste tomatoes from the Garden of Apologies and orange habanero peppers we smoked over apple and maple chips.

The light sweetness of the maple syrup shines through the savoury fullness of porter, garlic and tomatoes and the full mouth burn of smoky habs for a complete flavour experience.

This isn't a thick, ketchup style barbecue sauce, so it's in a wide mouthed, 375mL jar that you can get your basting brush into. Shacklands Beerbecue is also a killer marinade.
