Stamping
Prototier has been Ontario’s sheet metal prototyping and short-run expert since 1996. Whether it’s a complicated deep draw prototype, a large stamping, or a short run of production parts, our team has the capability to stamp your parts on time and to your satisfaction.
Our stamping tools and processes offer many benefits over production tooling such as:
More flexibility in design changes
Lower initial tooling costs
The ability to discover design engineering problems early
Significantly shorter lead times than mass production tooling
At Prototier, we have 14 stamping presses that range from 40 to 1600 tons with bed sizes up to
60in x 192in (80 sq. ft.). Most of our presses are hydraulic, which use slower stroke speeds to help
achieve complex geometries. However, we also have several mechanical presses for blanking and punching requirements. Additionally, we have the modern CNC machines, laser cutters, and
assembly capabilities to complete full stamping projects and eliminate the need to use multiple
suppliers. We are also stocked with a wide range of sheet metal grades and thicknesses, allowing us to maintain tight delivery schedules. With our proven combination of equipment and expertise, we are ready for any difficult stamping requirement.
Prototier adheres to ISO 9001:2015 standards in order to supply the highest quality service.
