Wild Yam and Chasteberry Cream

The Wild Yam and Chasteberry cream works by brightening the hormonal system.

Wild Yam stimulates the pituitary gland to release FSH, which then acts on the ovaries to release estrogen - referred to as estradiol after cessation of menarche.

Chasteberry stimulates the pituitary gland to release LH - Luteinizing Hormone, which stimulates the ovaries to release progesterone. Progesterone is often referred to as the happy hormone.

The pituitary gland is situated close to the thyroid gland and its increased action brightens or tunes up the thyroid as well. Many women experience improved body mass as their hormonal system improves.

Balanced hormones protect the body from many conditions such as cardiovascular, autoimmune including cancer, frozen shoulder etc. and arthritis.

Plant-based creams with respect to hormonal support are exceptional because a transdermal application offers more than 40X better absorption rate than oral options with regard to active ingredients such as diosgenin in the wild yam.

Topical application places hormonal regulation in our control. We may use more or less as we feel what's happening in our own body.

The ratio in Selah Botanicals is 1 part Wild Yam to 1 part Chasteberry. We have found that many other wild yam creams have much less of a ratio and therefore much less available chasteberry.
