Jöey Nordic Seed Crisps was created by founder Joseph Chen for his own gluten-free household, inspired by Nordic culinary philosophies of simplicity and sustainability. Started in Prince Edward County using 7 super seeds and premium culinary-inspired ingredients.

After working for big food brands like Kraft, Unilever, Hershey, Mondelez, and McDonald’s for 15 years, food and travel lover Joseph was inspired by a trip to Sweden and his gluten-free partner to create an artisanal snacking brand of his own. After spending three years developing a recipe, he launched Jöey Nordic Seed Crisps with the help of his family in August 2022.
