Rajwadi is a locally owned food production business located in Cambridge, Ontario. The company prepares and processes traditional vegetarian foods on site using local labour and Ontario-sourced ingredients whenever seasonally available.
Rajwadi operates a daily in-house kitchen where a variety of ready-to-eat and take-home foods are produced in small batches. Ontario-made products prepared at the facility include hand-rolled flatbreads (rotli and puri), fresh farsan snacks such as khaman, khandvi, patra and muthiya, traditional sweets including sukhdi, lapsi, mohanthal and shrikhand, as well as house-made chutneys, spice blends, buttermilk and yogurt-based preparations. All items are prepared fresh without artificial preservatives and follow standardized preparation and food safety procedures.
The business distributes these prepared foods through dine-in service, catering and a weekly tiffin meal program supplying households, students and working professionals across the Waterloo Region and nearby communities. Rajwadi provides local employment and trains staff in food production, sanitation and hospitality operations.
Rajwadi is also connected to its agricultural initiative, Pure Earth Farming in Rockwood, Ontario, and is actively increasing the use of locally grown vegetables within its food production. By producing traditional foods within Ontario and supporting regional agriculture and jobs, Rajwadi contributes to the province’s local food manufacturing and processing sector.
