Lisa June Byers is a Certified Aromatherapy Health Professional (CAHP) with the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists. They are of mixed ancestry including Ojibwe, Scottish, and Irish; their Kokum is Ojibwe and a member of Wabauskang First Nation (Bimose Tribal Council and the Grand Council of Treaty 3) in North-Western Ontario.
As an award-winning, Ontario-based designer of specialty aromatherapy blends, Lisa June has been helping others on their wellness journeys since 2014. They also handcrafted essential oil diffuser accessories. Lisa’s business is local-to-the-Guelph area, situated on the Between the Lakes Treaty No. 3 (1792).
In 2021, they founded the Mitigomin Social Enterprise with proceeds supporting Indigenous causes; to-date, they have raised and donated over $35K to the Woodland Cultural Centre.
