ALTR is a Canadian bath and ritual brand that centers local plants, sensory experience, and reconnection to the land. It was founded from a love of plants—particularly those native to the local landscape—and the desire to weave them into everyday life. The name ALTR is a play on words, blending “alter”—to change—and “altar”—a place of reverence. In this spirit, ALTR reimagines soap not as a commodity, but as a conduit—each product centered around a locally grown or native plant.
