Auntie Mocha’s Apothecary Soaps is a new business, both in manufacturing and retail.  However, Auntie Mocha has years of knowledge and experience and offers a wonderfully clean and natural way to enjoy your daily cleaning routine.  Auntie Mocha creates natural soaps and body products, that are free from the harsh chemicals most commercial soaps put on our bodies.  

 

Auntie Mocha’s Apothecary Soaps’ head office is based in Hamilton, ON, and they are currently looking for a new manufacturing facility to work out of.  So that she may offer her clients a wide variety of natural products to choose from.  Auntie Mocha’s Apothecary Soaps is a home-based operation, starting out selling her products at Community Event shows throughout the Hamilton area.  Until she can move on to her plans to expand her customer base to include e-commerce shopping and home-party sales.  Thus her customers will be able to contact Auntie Mocha with the convenience of phone, email, as well as in person during the home parties and event shows. 

Although Auntie Mocha’s Apothecary Soaps is a new retail business, Auntie is not new to the practice.  From a young age, she has used, learned about, and even made natural products.  From her handmade wildcrafted salves, tinctures, and syrups, to her handmade artisan natural soaps.  Auntie has a love for all things natural, including Mother Earth.  The very place Auntie "buys" some of her products from.  Auntie Mocha loves talking to the plants, and herbs she forages for.  As well as thanking them for their She has lived off-grid, surviving off the land on several occasions.  Her most recent time was during the Pandemic in 2020.  She lived off of plants, fungi, wild fruits and vegetables, and even wild herbs.  Her favourite side dish, when in nature, is Lamb's quarters salad.  She made jellies and jams from wild strawberries, raspberries, and sumac.  Auntie started out making her mud masks from a wonder and a prayer.  The more Auntie learned about living off the land and the wonders of what was offered to us from Mother Earth.  The more she experimented with natural medicines and wildcrafted foods.  Auntie Mocha’s Apothecary Soaps may be new, but the concept was instilled in her young heart and mind at the tender age of 5.  She made cold press soaps with her Godmother, on their farm in Creemore, Ontario.  In Kenora Ontario, Auntie lived off the land with her father.  That’s where he taught her to make homemade Buckley’s and to use tar from the white pine tree to use as a bug repellent. Before taking on this venture, Auntie was a cake artist.  Auntie has spent countless hours researching and reading to perfect her crafts.  So that she can give you, her clients, the confidence you want in a natural soap line.  Auntie has taken countless herbal courses and is a certified herbalist, but she isn’t stopping there.  Auntie Mocha has full intentions of getting her Ph.D. in herbalism and becoming recognized by the Ontario Government as a doctor of herbalism.  So she can offer her clients 100% truth in all that she forages for.  Auntie has gone deep into her heart and spirit to come up with a branding that represents her, her heritages, as well as her love for her fellow human beings.
