Our Beginning
S4 Sweets Inc. began with something simple: family.
When Hussein moved to Canada, he did not just bring luggage. He brought recipes, memories, and the desire to stay connected to his roots. What started as a longing for home became an opportunity. If traditional Ma’amoul could travel across oceans, perhaps a family legacy could too.
S4 Sweets was built to bridge that distance.
Family Recipes & Tradition
The recipes come from Hussein’s mother, Sawsan, and his sister, Tasneem, whose Ma’amoul was well known in their community. Their standards remain the foundation of everything we produce. Every formula was refined to preserve authentic flavor while meeting modern food production requirements. Even from afar, their influence guides every batch.
Building the Foundation
Behind the scenes, Hussein’s brothers, Mohammad and Abdulrahman, bring years of experience in import, export, and factory operations. Their technical knowledge, along with their father Ismail’s background in machinery, helped shape the operational blueprint of the company.
Though the family is spread across continents, their expertise forms the backbone of the business.
From Vision to Manufacturing
In Canada, Hussein and his brother Bilal turned vision into reality. When the factory equipment arrived completely disassembled, there was no outside engineering team — only two brothers determined to build something meaningful.
Piece by piece, they assembled the production line themselves, transforming raw machinery into a functioning facility. It was more than construction. It was commitment.

Before launching at scale, Hussein personally introduced the products to hundreds of people across London and the GTA. The response confirmed what he believed from the start: Ma’amoul is not limited to one culture. It is a product that connects people through taste, tradition, and quality.
