It began at home, during a season of paying closer attention.
While weaning her baby onto solid foods, founder Catherinah Rajakumar began making ghee herself. She tested different butters, learned from traditional methods, and shared batches with friends in pursuit of the best possible version for her family.
Raised in India and now building her life in Canada, Catherinah began to see this everyday staple through a new lens. What started as a personal experiment grew into a broader curiosity about why such a versatile, time-honoured cooking fat feels less familiar in everyday kitchens here.
Drawing from her cultural roots, design background, and love of good food, she set out to create a ghee that felt pure and intentional. Thoughtfully crafted for modern kitchens.
