I take a rough stones and Cut Geometric Facets or Faces resulting in a uniform gemstone that is ready to be set into jewellery. I specialize in cutting “Coloured” gemstones which also includes Clear gemstones (i.e. Quartz) however, I do NOT cut Diamonds. In fact, a Diamond is the only mineral I cannot cut.

I produce the most accurately cut, beautifully brilliant, colored gemstones I can possibly cut and offer them at reasonable and competitive prices. Because some of the rough stones I purchase to cut do have flaws such as “inclusions” within them, I do have many “budget stones”, but don’t be fooled by the thought of inclusions. Internal inclusions (flaws) often enhance the brilliance and overall beauty of the gemstone because they can act like internal facets. Furthermore, they help show that the stones are genuinely “natural”. That said, I do try to obtain the best quality rough stones as possible in all cases and when Custom Cutting for anyone, I will source the best quality stones my customers wish to pay for.

Unlike overseas, Commercial Cutters, my gemstones are not cut solely to preserve weight, resulting in a giant “Window” in the middle of the stone but rather I cut for best colour and brilliance while trying to preserve carat weight.
