Fern Kids

Fern Kids is a Canadian children's furniture and environment manufacturer based in Moorefield, Ontario. We design and build commercial-grade solid wood furniture, outdoor play structures, and custom children's spaces for early childhood education environments — including schools, daycares, Montessori programs, childcare centres, and family entertainment venues — with every piece crafted at our vertically integrated production facility in Wellington County.

Our product line includes tables, chairs, storage units, shelving, sensory furniture, outdoor play structures, and natural loose parts, alongside fully custom learning environments and play spaces designed for architects, developers, and institutional clients. We work primarily in solid wood and Baltic birch, guided by Montessori and Reggio Emilia design principles.

We serve early learning centres, school boards, architects, and developers across Canada through our commercial furniture line (Fern Kids) and a custom design-and-build arm (Fern Studio), with completed projects ranging from childcare centres and school playgrounds to hotel kids' clubs and mixed-use residential developments.

Founded in 2020 and manufacturing in Moorefield, Ontario ever since, Fern Kids is committed to producing durable, design-forward furniture and environments that are built to last in the hands of children — and built right here in Ontario.
