ABOUT:
All 60+ Birch Babe and Birch Baby products are handmade in Canada by our lead skincare formulator (and mom!) using vegan, cruelty free, ecocert, fairtrade and EWG Verified ingredients. Everything is packaged sustainably with aluminum, glass, and 100% recycled craft paper with a 1% giveback to The David Suzuki Foundation.
THE FOUNDER:
9 years ago, Debbie hiked solo from the southern tip of Patagonia to the northern tip of Chile. Witnessing the locals' dedication to the environment really sparked something in Debbie, she quit her job, moved to the cottage and started making skincare for herself and family. At the age of 60 Debbie went back to school and got 2 degrees in organic skincare formulation. 3 years ago her daughters came on board and helped rebrand Birch Babe which grew it from being available in 30 stores to 300 stores across North America. All products are still handmade in small batches in our Ontario lab.
