Cedar Planters was established in 2019 during the unprecedented Covid-19 Pandemic. Its founders, Jason and Haley, used to reside in a condo; she taught middle school students, and he managed marketing accounts, at the time. They yearned for some lovely flowers to brighten up their space in the spring, so Jason, who had experience in woodworking, created a lovely, unique, raised garden bed, for them to plant on their tiny condo balcony. After receiving positive feedback from friends and family, and realizing they wanted to share this product with others, the idea for "Cedar Planters" was curated.
No matter how big their outside space is or how skilled they are at gardening, the company's main objective is to help people discover the gift of gardening. Cedar Planters’ initiative is to provide a product made entirely of quality Western Red Cedar sourced from sustainably managed forests, that is easy to assemble and even easier to maintain.
