My maker story began many eons ago. I have always loved creating with one medium or another, and my creations have certainly evolved over the years. My dream of establishing my own handmade business finally became a reality when I was laid off from my day job at the start of COVID-19. Not one to have idle hands, I took what was, at the time, more of a hobby (creating signs for family and friends), and with a little bit of courage and much nervousness, I let my love of creating flourish as I opened my Etsy Shop.
It is such a gift that I get to do what I really love as a handmade maker & designer. It brings me much joy and satisfaction creating these signs, ranging from clean, simple and elegant, to a more rustic farmhouse style. I am an adventurous soul and am always up for trying something new if you have a custom design in mind. Whether it be a permanent fixture in your home or business, or one that changes with the seasons, words can make a powerful statement; whether it be an endearing quote, a funny line or an inspiring and more intentional phrase.
I use only locally sourced high-quality materials and non-toxic latex paints in all of my designs. Each sign is completely made by hand, right from cutting the board and frame, to sanding, staining, painting and assembling. I love what I do and take great pride in creating these pieces for you and your family.
