We’re a small, family-owned shop based in the GTA, designing and building custom pieces since 1993. Founded by Terry Moore and supported by senior maker Jack Murfitt-Warne, we specialize in thoughtful, timeless work that blends Scandinavian, Japanese, Mid-Century Modern, Shaker, Arts and Crafts, and Mission influences. Every piece is made with domestic woods, sustainable choices, and a commitment to craft over trends.
Every custom project — whether it’s a single piece or a full space — is built on collaboration, not transactions. Our clients value craft, creativity, and community. They invest in their homes, in local makers, and in making something real. Custom isn’t about clicking ‘add to cart.’ It’s about building something meaningful, together.
Terry’s roots run deep in traditional techniques. He studied boat building at Harbourfront Pier with Peter Code, refined his craft in intensive workshops with Michael Fortune at Sheridan College, trained in scenic display with Mac Thomas, and apprenticed under master woodworker Buck Tibbitt at The Wood Studio, Toronto. His work is shaped by legends like George Nakashima, Frank Lloyd Wright, James Krenov, Wharton Esherick, Finn Juhl, William Morris, and Hans Wegner.
