Established in 1946 as a division of Canada Packers, and taken private by Douglas Pryde in 1984, Feather Industries continues to operate today as a Canadian family owned & operated manufacturing company, specializing in the processing and sale of duck and goose down and feathers. We supply a wide range of industries including but not limited to home textiles/bedding, fashion and functional outerwear, outdoor recreation, and upholstery.
From it's inception, Feather Industries' facility has been located in the historic Stockyards district Toronto, and includes all aspects of the business; office & administration, processing & manufacturing, warehouse, and an on-site quality testing laboratory.
Core to our beliefs, Feather Industries has always maintained a policy of honesty, integrity and responsible management, focusing on the importance of selling a high-quality, competitively priced product. We pride ourselves on holding our company, associates and products to only the highest standard.
Feather Industries also committed to maintaining a strong sense of corporate social responsibility. We have researched and developed methods to make our processing more efficient and eco-friendly, and continue to introduce value-added programs which set our products apart from the competition.
Feather Industries is proud to be a strong advocate for the fair and humane treatment of animals. All our feathers and down procured are a by-product of the poultry industry, and each year our staff personally visit our approved vendors (hatching farms, growers & processors) to ensure all business partners within our supply chain follow an agreed upon ethical code of conduct.
We are proud of what we do, so that our customers can be comfortable with what we provide.
