Soda-lime Creations

Elise Chung is the ceramic artist and owner of Soda-lime Creations, based in Stouffville, Ontario. Once a synthetic chemist, Elise now uses a scientific approach to create her glazes and functional forms with clay. The fusion of art and chemistry is the inspiration behind her business name, combining her interests into glaze chemistry. Elise uses form and glaze resist techniques to accentuate flow and variegation in her glazes; creating a controlled chaos.
