- On average, Ontario employees working in manufacturing make over $60,000 a year.
- The sector directly accounts for almost 11 per cent of the province’s GDP.
- There are over 36,000 manufacturing companies in Ontario.
- Manufacturing is responsible for close to 80% of Ontario’s outbound goods. The sector’s top five export markets are the US, Germany, Mexico, Norway, and China.
