RopeShop is a proud Canadian company. We are family owned, and operate out of Hamilton, Ontario. Our extended family is involved in cottaging, boating, farming, and crafting. We started this company because we got tired of going to the local hardware store or big box store to purchase rope, and walking away empty handed because all we could find was poor quality product that had been manufactured overseas. Looking online, we realized there are many manufacturers listed, but not many companies who will sell directly to the public.

RopeShop believes in supporting the Canadian economy. For this reason, almost our entire product line is purchased from Canadian manufacturers. If something is not Canadian made, such as our Manila Rope, we will be sure to let you know where it is manufactured. On top of that, we have examined the manufacturing processes of our suppliers and chosen to work with companies that also put an emphasis on buying Canadian made raw materials.
