Some fruit is chosen for convenience. Ours is chosen for character.
We grow haskap berries, black currants, red currants, gooseberries, and rhubarb—a lineup that’s a little unexpected and completely worth it. These crops earned their place here for two reasons: they taste incredible and they’re naturally packed with beneficial nutrients. Bright, bold flavours. Tart-sweet depth. The kind of fruit that makes you pause mid-bite and go, “Oh—this is different.”
We love fruit that brings something to the table—literally.
- Haskap has that deep berry richness (think blueberry-meets-blackberry) with a bright edge.
- Black currants are bold and aromatic, perfect for syrups, jams, and anything that needs a tart kick.
- Red currants are crisp and lively—beautiful in desserts and sauces.
- Gooseberries are refreshingly tart and made for pies, compotes, and chutneys.
- Rhubarb is classic tang: the backbone of crisps, pies, and quick jams.
These aren’t “meh” berries. They’re flavours with personality—and they happen to be nutrient-dense fruits, often celebrated for being naturally rich in antioxidants.
How we farm
We believe great fruit starts long before harvest day. Our approach is rooted in sustainable farming practices that support the long-term health of our land.
To us, sustainability isn’t a buzzword—it’s a set of choices we make season after season. We focus on responsible growing methods that help our plants thrive while supporting the ecosystem around them. That means thinking about the future while we work in the present: soil health, biodiversity, and the steady rhythms that make agriculture possible.
Our harvest mindset
We harvest for flavour. We harvest for quality. We harvest at the moment the fruit is ready to be itself.
Our goal is simple: grow fruit you’re excited to use—in smoothies, baking, sauces, preserves, and creative desserts—and make it easy to feel confident about where it came from.
