The Good Knot is a family-owned and operated business based in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. We've always kept ourselves busy by learning new things and creating. Over the years, working with wood has grown into a passion. Wood is such a versatile medium, and each board has its own character and beauty, knots and all. We are meticulous in selecting each board for our products, bringing richness, uniqueness, and beauty to each piece. For each product, we begin by considering who it is intended for.

When designing our spatulas, we carefully examined the pots and pans used in kitchens, considering the ergonomics of how someone scrapes a pan or stirs a pot. We used this to create a number of designs, which were then tested for how they feel, how they look, and how they perform. This process led us to the current spatula design, one that we love and can't live without in the kitchen.
