Canadian Threadall Limited

Canadian Threadall Limited is a manufacturing division of Leland Industries (www.leland.ca) that specializes in manufacturing custom fasteners, including Wire Form Bent Products (U, J and L Bolts), along with threaded products, including Threaded Rod and Studs among many other fasteners.

Threadall is a privately owned ISO 9001:2015 Registered company, incorporated in December 1982 and relocated in the spring of 1983 to Waterloo Ontario. Threadall is a manufacturer of high quality-threaded products of mostly ferrous and non-ferrous metals. In July of 2012 we were acquired by Leland Industries Inc., a world-class manufacturer of fasteners. (www.leland.ca)). In October 2017, after 35 years, Threadall relocated from a 20,000 sq. foot plant in Waterloo, Ontario to a new 43,000 sq. foot manufacturing facility in Cambridge, ON.  

Over the past 40+ years we have custom manufactured fasteners for various industrial and business sectors, including OEM’s (Black and Decker, Bombardier, to name a few), Automotive (Tier 2 for the Big 3, Toyota, Honda), both American and Canadian Military and many customers in the Construction Industry.

We are capable of producing runs as small as a single piece (or prototype runs) or higher volumes that you would typically see as an automotive requirement. We are capable of threading diameters from #4-40 (.112” or 3mm) to 16” (400mm). Threadall Manufacturing also has the ability to turn product in excess of 16” in diameter. Customized threads are one of our specialties. Our ability to supply our customers with a variety of products and services is an important priority at Threadall. We have the capability and experience to supply you with specially threaded rods and studs, including fine, coarse, and Acme, as well as the ability to supply you with special pitches, multiple starts up to 16" in diameter, in both right and left-hand threads, by utilizing Cut, Roll and Mill Threading processes.

Bending and wire forming is the second major function of our business. We bend most configurations, including U-bolts, J-bolts, and L-bolts - from 1/16" to 4 1/2" diameter. Special configurations, designed by our customers, can be accommodated. Our capabilities include wire drawing and straight and cut from .100” to .750” in diameter, from ½” up to 20 feet in length.

Threadall Manufacturing has forging and upsetting capabilities from 1/8” to in excess of 1 1/8” in which we are capable of manufacturing all types of custom fasteners, including Headed and Extruded bolts, Collar work as well as many other custom configurations.

Recently, Threadall Manufacturing has invested in CNC custom machining, including bending, turning, milling, drilling and tapping, working in all types of materials.

In addition to threading and bending, we also produce concrete forming hardware, such as taper ties, crane bases, clamps, and many other accessories for the construction industry.

As an overview we have the ability to provide quality products in-house including:

• Custom ACME Lead and Feed Screws up to 16” (400mm) diameter including machined and milled ends.
• Thread Rolling and Thread Cutting to 4 ½” Diameter. Thread Milling to 16” (400mm) Diameter.
• High Precision CNC Machining and Milling.
• Wire drawing to .750" (19mm) diameter.
• Straight and Cut - diameters from .100" to .750” lengths from 1/2” to 240".
• Wire Forming and Bending to 4 ½” diameter including Both Round and Square Top "U" Bolt, "L" Bolts, Eye Bolts, Hook Bolts.
• Forging and Upsetting to 1-1/8" diameter - Long Lengths, collars and extrusions.
• Secondary processes including Drilling Tapping and Milling.
