Pluck Tea is an independent, award-winning, woman-owned tea company based in Toronto that incorporates locally sourced Canadian ingredients in our small-batch handmade blends. We proudly blend and pack all of our teas at our Canadian production facility in East York. 

 

Founded in 2012 by Tea Sommelier and passionate entrepreneur Jennifer Commins to ‘fix restaurant tea’ Pluck Tea is served in top restaurants, cafés, offices and more. In addition to sourcing ingredients from local and Canadian growers, Pluck’s sustainability mission includes diverting food waste by finding and creating upcycling opportunities within the food and beverage industry. Examples include dried citrus peels saved from a cold-pressed juice maker and cacao shells from a local chocolate maker.

 

Pluck Tea offers a wide selection of directly sourced premium teas from around the world, including Organic Premium Ceremonial Matcha, organic infusions, and caffeine-free options. All teas are available loose-leaf formats, or in plant-based compostable tea bags.

 

At Pluck Tea, we are proudly plastic-negative through our partnership with CleanHub. In 2025, we have committed to removing ten tons of ocean-bound plastic as a starting point - and you can help us collect more. For every dollar you spend on our premium, small batch teas (accessories too!) we will remove the equivalent of one 500ml water bottle's worth of plastic from coastal communities.
