When 10-year-old Olamide couldn’t find brown plush dolls that looked like her, she decided to design her own—and that spark grew into Pocketlings. We’re a mom-and-daughter–founded Ontario brand creating joyful, representation-first plush dolls and affirmation-based books that help kids feel seen, celebrated, and confident.

 

Rooted in community and cultural pride, Pocketlings is designed and built with care here in Ontario, showing up at community markets and libraries, and sharing stories that uplift families. What began as one child’s dream has become a movement to bring more joy, diversity, and belonging to the world of children’s toys.
