Onward Control Solutions Inc. was established in 2006 as a controls company working directly for Oldcastle based machine builders. The company focus was control systems for the plastics and metals industries. In 2016, Onward began building machines for the same industries directly for Tier 1 suppliers.
In the fall of 2018, Onward Control Solutions Inc. rebranded to Onward Automation Inc.. The new name represents an evolved company focus and direction. The Automation name emphasizes the complete design and build of turnkey machines compared to the previous subcontractor role as the controls department for local builders. We now focus on 100% in-house machine design and build providing quality equipment to the end user.
In summer 2018, Onward opened a new 4000 sq. ft. automation bay. Our offices and shop now exceed 11,500 sq ft. in the Oldcastle area with 13 employees and growing!
