Carabara Designs

Carabara Designs was founded in 2016 in Ottawa, Ontario, by illustrator Cara Rowlands. It all began with a single hand-lettered illustration of a quote surrounded by delicious vegetables. Since then, Carabara Designs has grown into a thriving stationery and novelty goods business whose products include socks, art prints, greeting cards, notepads and more. Drawing upon her background as an animator, Cara creates striking, eye-catching illustrations for her products using bright colours and bold linework. Carabara Designs products appeal to those with a curious mind, an enthusiasm for food, and an indulgent and delightful sense of nostalgia.

All Carabara Designs art prints and gift tags are manufactured by Cara Rowlands in her studio, and all greeting cards, postcards and notepads are printed through partnering with a local Ottawa printer.
