Q.H. Food Products Inc.

Established in 1982 by a husband-and-wife team of Vietnamese refugees who fled the Vietnam War, Q.H. Food Products Inc. (o/a Quê Hương) was born from a desire to provide the newly arrived Vietnamese refugees to Toronto with a nostalgic taste of the homeland they had left behind. At that time, there were no local producers of Vietnamese pork rolls (chả lụa/giò lụa), and the community was deprived of this essential culinary comfort; the company was established specifically to fill this void and bring a piece of home to the burgeoning Vietnamese population.

More than four decades later, the company remains a proud family-run business dedicated to the authentic craft of traditional Vietnamese food production. It has since become the leading producer of traditional style Vietnamese pork rolls (chả lụa/giò lụa) in Ontario, having grown to be deeply well-known within the community and a staple product for families across generations. While the company initially focused its distribution on Oriental grocers within the Toronto Area, it has since successfully expanded its reach and can now be found at nearly all major East Asian and Southeast Asian grocery stores across Ontario. Today, the company remains steadfast in its mission to serve the demands of the Vietnamese population, continuing to take pride in placing authentic and traditional food on the tables of Vietnamese Ontarians every day.
