Tania Love

Tania Love is a Toronto based artist.  Whether sketching, painting or foraging locally in Ontario for acorns, sumac berries and plants to create ink used for screen prints on linen and silk – she draws from her passion for botanicals to create tactile pieces inspired by the quiet rhythm of the seasons.  The delicate motifs found on her textiles are hand-painted or hand screen printed with small batch plant-based inks and dyes in my Toronto studio.  Her paintings and drawings are inspired by a sense of place and created with natural paints.
