Bee Sippin
Our Sippin’ Meads originated in the deep desire to have a warm toasty drink for cool nights.
Our Bochet, brewed originally as a birthday wish, became a fast favourite. By style it is a bochet, meaning that we use caramelized honey to throw smoky flavours and combine it with a blended yeast to give it some cedar on the finish. Brewed to a strength of 12.0% it reflects a style of mead that many have come to love.
Number 19 and Number 22 are the first releases of our barrel program. Both meads are aged in gin barrels for six months or more. Number 19 balances berries on the nose with a nutty, sweet flavour. Number 22 balances floral on the nose with a dry woody flavour.
All Sippin' meads are naturally gluten free, no added sugar and all natural.
