Black Bear Mug
I throw my mugs on my potter’s wheel out of stoneware clay. I add the pulled handle and disk when the mug was leatherhard. After bisquefiring I painted the black bear with coloured slips. It is glazed with blue glazes, then fired to cone 6. It is lead free, food safe, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. It is approximately 3 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches tall. It holds 1 ½ cups of your favorite beverage.
