Custom Made Designs

Have an original idea, or want to make significant changes to one of our made-to-order products? Our custom-design service allows you to create a piece specifically for your space, needs and personal style.

Begin by sending us your idea, inspiration photograph or the modifications you would like made to an existing design. Please include any preferred measurements, wood species, colours, finishes, hardware or decorative details.

Customization can include:

• Different dimensions or construction
• Reclaimed or specialty wood
• Stain or paint colours
• Epoxy inlays and choice of Epoxy colour
• Stencilling or personalized designs
• Other functional or decorative changes

We work with Canadian wood whenever possible, including reclaimed pallet and barn wood, Ontario maple, cherry, walnut, oak and curly maple along with other local species. Other wood species can be sourced when required. If the requested wood is not currently in stock, the additional sourcing time will be included in the project timeline.

After reviewing your request, we will provide a written quotation outlining the agreed design, estimated production time and payment details. A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due when the piece is ready for shipping, pickup or delivery.

You will be kept informed throughout the project and receive progress photographs as your piece is created.

Custom orders can be shipped throughout Canada using ClickShip. Once the piece has been assembled, we can determine its final packaged dimensions and weight. We will then provide a shipping quote using the most economical suitable carrier available for your location. Pickup and local delivery within 2 hours of Sarnia may also be arranged.
