Dichroic Earrings
Our dichroic earrings are made by cutting sheets of dichroic glass and fusing these pieces of dichroic to a piece of black background glass. Depending on the light, the earrings can change colour and have a sparkly iridescence to them. Lightweight glass earrings that are fun and flashy!
To create dichroic glass, glass makers use electron beams to apply ultra thin layers of quartz and metallic coatings to fusible glass in a vacuum chamber. The result are vibrant, sparkly colours that are perfect for unique glass jewelry.
Glass measures approx. 0.9cm and the overall length is 5 cm.
Earwires and findings are sterling silver.
