Design Build Approach:

All of Earthscape’s work is design-build. In short, what we design is what we build, and we build what we design. Design-Build means there is one source of responsibility for Concept, Details, Construction, Warranty, Schedule, CSA Review, and Financial. We take care of your project from beginning to end. Design-build allows Earthscape to collaborate with you in a way that brings your and ideas for your space to fruition. We work from any level of Design Program detail: from blank page, to a brief statement of design intent, to rough sketches, to detailed images and preliminary construction details.

The thoughtful design of a playground can have a tremendous impact on the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children and the experience of caregivers.

Earthscape’s approach to designing playgrounds recognizes that every child plays in a unique way. At different developmental stages, even on different days, the needs and interests of children vary. Our playgrounds cater to diverse play styles—for the adventurous climbers, exploratory diggers, careful observers, and constant risk-takers alike, ensuring every child finds joy, growth, and endless possibilities in play.

Playground Safety Standards Compliance:

Earthscape warrants that all playground equipment products manufactured and installed will be completed in strict accordance with CSA-Z614-14. The only exception is where an issue of non-compliance has been identified and agreed to in writing by the client prior to shipping. Earthscape will supply replacement parts and installation, without cost, to rectify any non-compliant issues caused by improper design, manufacturing or installation procedures. We reserve the right to have 3rd party Certified Playground Safety Inspector review the work. In the event of a disagreement regarding Playground Safety Standard Compliance, the less stringent interpretation shall apply.
