Fielding Estate Winery Fireside Red
This Fireside Red wine has an intense crimson red colour, and a nose filled with juicy dark fruit, dark cherry, licorice. On the palate expect an underlying smoky oak notes with a warm spices on the finish . Well-integrated tannins on this medium-bodied wine, resulting in a well-rounded and well-structured palate.
Winemaking Notes:
A blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon from several vineyards in Niagara, each component of this wine was harvested on different days and fermented individually, allowing for greater complexity in the resulting wine. Barrels and tanks selected for this wine were picked for their approachability, richness and complexity. After aging together, the final blend was allowed to integrate before bottling.
