Goldenrod Greeting Card

Our greeting cards are memorable, eco-friendly, celebrations of Canada!

Each folded A2 greeting card is blank inside and measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (10.8 cm x 14 cm). With its elegant linen finish, the cardstock we have selected is the perfect backdrop to our unique Canadian designs. A quality square-flap envelope accompanies every card.

Both our greeting card and its accompanying envelope are carbon neutral (made with 100% wind power) and FSC certified. They are also elemental chlorine free and lignin free. Even the clear packaging that protects each card and envelope is eco-friendly: instead of plastic, it is constructed from a plant-based material!
Designed and printed in Canada.

Did you know?!

Considered an undesirable weed by many Canadians, numerous species of Goldenrod (genus Solidago) can be found in Canada. But, while farmers may not be impressed by these showy plants with their abundant yellow blooms, bees love them!

The Narrow-Leaved or Fragrant Goldenrod pictured here was painted by accomplished artist and natural scientist, Norman Criddle (1875-1933). As provincial entomologist for Manitoba, one of his accomplishments was devising a solution, called the “Criddle Mixture”, to the devastation caused to crops by grasshoppers. His family’s home in Aweme has been designated a Manitoba Provincial Heritage Park.
