DxTM™, Microbix’s Viral Transport Medium, is an Ontario-developed and manufactured product that is used for the collection and transport of clinical specimens containing viruses from the collection site to the testing laboratory, including testing for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19
DxTM™ is suitable for processing using standard clinical laboratory operating procedures for viral nucleic acid testing. It could potentially be validated for use in viral antigen detection. DxTM™ is designed to work with a wide array of viral pathogens.
